Research

The BOKU ABCT is dedicated to scientific excellence and research on an internationally competitive level, based on the leading positions of the involved research units. It bundles fundamental and applied research in the fields of biorefineries, chemistry of renewable resources, biomaterials, and analysis of biorefinery streams.

Network

ABCT is supported by the county of Lower Austria, BOKU University, and participating industries. It offers partner companies the opportunity for long-term, fundamental, but application-related research.

The combination of research and PhD education, facilitated by the linkage to the doctoral school ABC&M, ensures the availability of future biorefinery experts and long-term continuity in research.
